Account & Data Deletion Policy

We respect your right to control your data. This policy explains how to delete your R90 Navigator account, what data is deleted, what may be retained, and the expected timeline.
1. How to Request Account Deletion
You can request account deletion in the following ways:
- In-App: Go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account. Follow the confirmation steps. Your account will be queued for deletion immediately.
- By Email: Send a deletion request to privacy@r90navigator.com from the email address associated with your account. Include “Account Deletion Request” in the subject line.
We may ask you to verify your identity before processing a deletion request to protect your account from unauthorized deletion.
2. What Gets Deleted
Upon confirmed account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Your account profile (email, name, authentication credentials)
- Onboarding quiz answers and personalization data
- Sleep rhythm plans and preferences
- Sleep logs, check-ins, and journal entries
- R-Lo AI conversation history
- Notification preferences and reminder settings
- Calendar integration data (if connected)
- App usage preferences and settings
- Any web quiz results linked to your account
3. What May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained after account deletion where required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Subscription and transaction records: As required by tax and accounting regulations. These records do not contain your sleep or wellness data.
- Anonymized aggregate data: Data that has been fully anonymized and cannot be linked back to you may be retained for product improvement and research.
- Legal compliance: Data required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
- Security logs: Minimal security logs may be retained for up to 90 days to protect against fraud or abuse.
4. Deletion Timeline
Unless required for legal, security, or accounting reasons, we aim to delete or anonymize your account data within 30 days of a verified deletion request. In most cases, deletion is completed sooner.
You will receive an email confirmation when your account has been deleted.
5. Effect on Subscriptions
Important: Deleting your R90 Navigator account does not automatically cancel your subscription. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store subscription settings before or immediately after requesting account deletion to avoid further charges.
Subscription cancellation instructions:
- iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > R90 Navigator > Cancel
- Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > R90 Navigator > Cancel
6. Local Data on Your Device
Account deletion removes data from our servers. Data cached locally on your device (such as offline sleep data or preferences) is not automatically removed by server-side deletion. To remove local data, uninstall the R90 Navigator app from your device.
7. Reinstating a Deleted Account
Once your account is deleted and the deletion process is complete, the action is irreversible. If you wish to use R90 Navigator again, you will need to create a new account and complete onboarding again. Previous data cannot be recovered.
