Calendar Data Usage Policy

Last updated: 6 May 2026

R90 Navigator can optionally connect to your calendar to detect schedule conflicts with your rhythm plan and help you plan better. This policy explains what calendar data we access and how we use it.

1. Calendar Access Is Optional

Calendar integration is entirely optional. R90 Navigator works fully without calendar access. You will be asked for explicit permission before any calendar data is read. You can decline without losing access to core features.

2. Data We Access

With your explicit permission, R90 Navigator may read the following calendar data:

  • Event titles: Used to identify commitments that may conflict with your rhythm plan
  • Event start and end times: Used to calculate potential conflicts with your sleep window, wind-down period, or MRM/CRP moments
  • Event dates: Used for forward-looking rhythm planning
  • Calendar names: Used to help you select which calendars to include

We access only the minimum metadata necessary for rhythm planning. We do not read event descriptions, attendee lists, locations, attachments, or full calendar content.

3. How We Use Calendar Data

Calendar data is used exclusively to:

  • Detect schedule conflicts with your recommended sleep window, wind-down period, or CRP windows
  • Suggest adjustments to your daily rhythm plan when conflicts are detected
  • Help R-Lo provide more relevant coaching based on your upcoming schedule
  • Display relevant schedule context within the App's plan view

4. What We Do NOT Do with Calendar Data

  • We do NOT sell calendar data.
  • We do NOT use calendar data for advertising.
  • We do NOT share calendar data with third-party marketing platforms.
  • We do NOT store calendar data permanently on our servers. Calendar data is processed in real-time or cached temporarily on your device for performance.
  • We do NOT write to or modify your calendar.

5. Revoking Calendar Access

You can revoke calendar access at any time:

  • iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars > R90 Navigator > Turn off
  • Android: Settings > Apps > R90 Navigator > Permissions > Calendar > Deny
  • From within the App: Profile > Settings > Calendar > Disconnect

After revoking access, R90 Navigator will no longer read your calendar. Rhythm planning will continue based on other available data.

6. Google Calendar

If you connect a Google Calendar, the App accesses calendar data through the Google Calendar API in accordance with Google's API Services User Data Policy. The App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to these requirements, including the Limited Use requirements.
